Web
The real value of technology lies in the opportunities it creates for people.
Our consultants and developers have extensive experience of using and developing solutions that make an impact, both internally and externally. We help you with web development, web design, digital customer journeys, integrations, UI and UX design, universal design, measurement and analysis, privacy, APIs, AI optimization and CMS/publishing solutions.
We can help you with:
Website development
Websites aren't just websites - it actually matters what they look like and how they work in use. We design and develop bespoke websites for your unique needs, whether it's a one-pager with static content or a complex site that needs to solve a number of different tasks. Our experienced developers and UX and UI designers take your real needs as a starting point and then create solutions that actually meet those needs.
Digital customer journeys
Where do people meet you? Where do they convert? And where do they not convert? If you don't have control over the entire customer journey, it's hard to know how to make sure customers actually buy from you. We help you get an overview - and we help you optimize the customer journey.
Interaction design (IxD)
Interaction design is an umbrella term for the discipline that works with the meeting between man and machine. The aim is to design user experiences (UX) and user interfaces (UI) that ensure the best possible interaction.
User experience (UX)
UX design (user experience) is about how people use digital solutions such as websites and apps. UI is closely related to UX, and together they make up the design of a digital solution. Your website is often your most important communication surface, and the design has a major impact on both the brand experience and the customer experience. The navigation must be intuitive, the buttons clear and the content must provide answers to your questions. That's why we have in-house specialists in UX and UI design who ensure that our sites are easy to use, appealing and function properly.
User interface (UI)
UI (user interface) design is the process of designing the visual and interactive layer, i.e. what the user actually sees and uses, in digital products such as websites and apps. UI includes layout, visual style, interaction and accessibility.
Universal design (UD)
Universal design is about planning and designing physical and digital products, environments and services so that they can be used by everyone, regardless of disability. For us, this is mainly about visual and technical design and interaction. For example, designing websites to make it easier for blind and partially sighted people to read the content with or without a screen reader, or making it easier for everyone to use digital services on mobile phones, even with reduced fine motor skills.
Prototyping
The best way to ensure a good end product and a smooth process is to spend some time at the start creating a prototype. This will give you an interactive visualization of your idea and allow you to spot weaknesses and challenges at an early stage. It often means that you end up with a much better end product.
App development
We can help you develop apps that work optimally for your purpose. We do layout and design, user experience (UX) and user interface (UI) and content, and we have great partners who help us with the technical development.
Measurement and analysis
How many people visit your website? Where do they come from? What do they do on your website and how long do they stay there? These are questions you should be able to answer, but you won't be able to tell unless you have good website traffic measurement. We can help you set up measurements and analyze what the numbers actually say and what they mean for you. We use several different measurement tools and find the one that best suits your needs and wishes without violating the privacy rules (GDPR).
Search engine optimization (SEO)
Can people find you online? Search engine optimization (SEO) is about increasing the chance that search engines will show your content when people search for specific words, things, phenomena or phrases. SEO is about organic visibility, not keyword advertising or other paid activities. Design, code and content are all important to ensure the best possible SEO. That's why our specialists work interdisciplinary to ensure that you get the best possible effect from your work.
AI optimization (GEO)
If people are to find you online, robots must find you first. Generative Engine Optimization (GEO) is about optimizing content and web solutions so that people can find you and your services or products through AI searches such as ChatGPT, Gemini, and Claude. Our specialists help you build websites and plan and produce content that makes you visible in AI searches. In this article, we explain in more detail what GEO is and how you can optimize content for AI.
Conversion rate optimization (CRO)
Conversion optimization (CRO) aims to get more visitors to do what you want them to do once they enter your website. We set conversion goals based on what's important to your business. This could be anything from making a purchase to submitting a form, signing up for a newsletter or downloading a PDF.
Maintenance (SLA)
For a website to be secure and function well, it needs constant maintenance and updating. The alternative can be costly. That is why we offer maintenance agreements (SLAs) that ensure your websites are secure and up to date. And if something happens, we will fix it. On this page, you can read more about our maintenance agreements.
API
APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) are interfaces that allow different systems to talk to each other and share data. For example, an API can enable your website to connect to and retrieve information from external systems for everything from traffic data, weather data, payment systems or functionality offered by external partners. It can also simplify your everyday life by ensuring that you don't have to manually update data in multiple places on your website. We help you plan and set up API solutions that are tailored to your needs. This can be anything from using existing APIs for partners to developing new API endpoints that make it easier to operate and further develop your own solutions.
Integrations
Integrations are about connecting the website with other systems, preferably through APIs. Examples include integrations with CRM systems, map and traffic data, payment solutions, booking and logistics solutions. We map out which systems should talk to each other and how data should flow. We then set up and test the integrations so that they work stably in practice and make everyday life easier for both you and your users.
AI
AI is becoming an increasingly important part of the digital world. If used correctly, it can be used for smarter searches, content summaries, recommendations or simple support functions for users. We help you to find out where AI actually provides benefit and effect in your digital services, and how it should be solved technically and in terms of content. At the same time, we take into account privacy, quality and maintenance, so that the solution is safe to use over time.
Online store
We design and develop online stores tailored to your actual needs, whether you need a small niche store or a larger solution with many products. We emphasize structure, user-friendliness and universal design, and we can connect the online store to other systems such as warehousing, logistics, finance and CRM.
Web development as-a-service
With web development as-a-service, you can get updated and modern websites and digital solutions without large individual costs. You get a fixed number of hours per month and a prioritized task list that we review regularly. That way, we can always work on what makes the most impact, whether it's new features, user experience adjustments or technical improvements. When we work steadily and systematically, instead of making major upgrades every few years, we can ensure that the websites are always up to date in terms of design, structure, functionality, content, integrations, SEO and GEO.
Privacy policy (GDPR)
A very important part of everything that happens online is privacy. In a rapidly changing landscape, it can be difficult to keep a straight face. We help you to comply with GDPR, and to see the opportunities that exist within that framework.
WordPress
We build most of the websites we deliver in WordPress. It's a flexible and user-friendly publishing system with a large ecosystem of extensions and features. The solution is easy to manage, update and maintain. WordPress is based on open source code and is well known in the industry. This makes it easy to further develop your websites, integrate them with other systems and ensure that you're not locked into one provider. When we set up WordPress sites, we always take into account data protection (GDPR), universal design (UU) and security, and we provide training so that you can use the solution effectively in everyday life.
React
When we need more advanced and interactive solutions than can be solved directly in a traditional publishing system, we often use React. This can be anything from bespoke user interfaces, dashboards and configurators, to customized components and microservices that pull data from various APIs. We build React solutions that are tightly integrated with the rest of your digital structure, whether your websites are hosted in WordPress, Sanity or other systems. The aim is to provide the end user with a fast and intuitive experience, while at the same time ensuring that the solution is neatly structured and can be maintained over time.
Sanity
Sanity is a so-called "headless" CMS, where content is stored as structured data and can be used on websites, in apps, screens or other digital surfaces through APIs. It offers more flexibility than WordPress, for example, and is used when we need to build pages with greater requirements for complexity and structure. We often connect Norwegian-developed Sanity to React to build the front end. This gives you a solution where you have good control over the content, while developers are free to create tailored and fast user experiences on top.
Hosting
We offer website hosting through WP Engine on our dedicated servers in Finland. It provides fast and stable operation with high uptime, good backup solutions, built-in caching and global content distribution (CDN) for better performance. Security is continuously monitored and updated so that known vulnerabilities are dealt with before they cause problems. For you, this means that we take responsibility for technical operations, while you can concentrate on what you do best. Data is stored within the EU/EEA, and the platform complies with strict security and privacy requirements.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will we be locked into your system afterward, or will we own the solution ourselves?
You own the solution. We build most of our websites using WordPress and Sanity, which are open-source and well-known in the industry—making it easy to further develop the site, integrate it with other systems, and switch providers if you wish. In other words, you’re not locked into working with us. When we set up a site, we also provide training so that you can update the content yourselves on a day-to-day basis. Many clients choose to stay with us anyway, though, because it’s convenient to have someone who knows the platform.
Where is the website hosted, and where is the data stored?
We offer hosting through WP Engine on dedicated servers in Finland, with fast and stable performance, robust backup solutions, and ongoing security updates. Data is stored within the EU/EEA, and the platform adheres to strict security and privacy requirements. We take care of the technical operations, while you can focus on what you do best. You’re also free to host with other providers if you prefer.
Will you help us with the content, or do we have to fill the page ourselves?
Both, depending on what you want. We have our own copywriters and content creators, and we source photos and videos through our partners, so we can populate the site with ready-to-use text, images, and videos. If you’d like to do more yourself, we’ll help you get started and set up the structure so it’s easy to maintain.
What happens after the website is launched? Do you offer maintenance services?
Yes. A website needs regular maintenance and updates to stay secure and function properly. We offer maintenance agreements (SLAs) that ensure your sites remain secure and up-to-date, and if anything goes wrong, we’ll fix it. For those of you who want to work on your sites on an ongoing basis, we also offer web development as a service, where you get a set number of hours per month for ongoing improvements.
Do we have to commit, or can we start small?
You can certainly start small. Many clients begin with a specific project, and then we build on that if desired. If you have an ongoing need—such as regular maintenance, content creation, or advertising—a retainer agreement can be both more cost-effective and more predictable, because we can then work systematically on what yields the best results over time. We’ll recommend whatever best suits your needs.
What do you need from us to get started?
Less than many people think. Usually, all it takes is a conversation about what you want to achieve, and access to whatever profile, materials, or data you already have. We’ll figure out the rest together as we go. If anything is unclear, our first task is often to help you pinpoint exactly what you need.
Are you a good fit for small businesses, large corporations, and the public sector?
Yes to everyone. We work with everyone from startups on a tight budget to large corporations and public sector organizations with extensive requirements. Our portfolio ranges from municipalities and government agencies to international companies and local businesses, and we have extensive experience with the requirements associated with public sector projects, such as universal design, plain language, and privacy. We tailor the solution to your needs and budget.
How much does it cost?
It depends entirely on the project. A simple campaign, a new website, and a multi-year framework agreement naturally fall into different price ranges, and we never quote a price until we understand exactly what you need. What we always do is provide you with a clear estimate before we get started, so you know what to expect. We can work on an hourly basis or for a fixed price, and for ongoing needs, we’re happy to set up an agreement with a fixed number of hours per month. Get in touch for a no-obligation chat, and we’ll figure out what works best for you.
How do you work, from the initial contact to final delivery?
Every project is different, so we tailor the process to the task at hand. But the basic structure remains the same: we start by getting to know you, the market, and the target audience. We then develop a concept or direction, which we present to you before moving into production. Throughout the process, we maintain close communication, show you our work, and make adjustments based on your feedback. Finally, we launch the project and follow up. For smaller assignments, this process is quick and informal; for larger projects, we work through several rounds of insights, sketches, and adjustments. You’ll know where we are in the process and what the next step is every step of the way.
How long does it take?
It depends on the project. A simple project can be completed in a matter of days, while a new visual identity, a larger website, or a strategic process can take weeks or months, often involving several rounds of revisions along the way. Once we understand the scope, we’ll provide you with a realistic timeline with dates and milestones, so we both know what we’re working toward. We’d rather promise a little less than a little too much.
Who will we be working with, and will we have a designated contact person?
With us, you’ll work with a single dedicated account manager who is familiar with your project, so you won’t have to deal with a different person every time you reach out. Behind this contact person is a multidisciplinary team where consultants, designers, developers, and copywriters work together under one roof. We handle the coordination between these disciplines internally, so you can deal with a single point of contact.
Who owns what you're making?
What you pay for is yours. You own the finished products we create, whether it’s a logo, a visual identity, a website, or other materials. When we build websites, we also use solutions that don’t lock you into working with us. We use open source software whenever possible and provide you with training, so you’re free to further develop or migrate the solution later on. We want you to stay with us because you want to, not because you have to.
Can we purchase just one service, or do we have to buy the whole package?
You can buy exactly what you need. Whether you just need a logo, a campaign, or help with advertising, we’ll take care of it. Just because we offer the full range of services under one roof doesn’t mean you have to use everything—it means you can easily expand as your needs grow, without having to bring in new vendors. We recommend what we think you actually need, and we’ll be honest if something isn’t worth the money for you.
Can we get some references or see examples of similar work you've done?
Of course. We’ve worked with clients throughout Western Norway and beyond, many of them for many years. You’ll find a selection of projects under “Work” in the menu, and we’d be happy to show you work that’s relevant to your needs. We work with local, national, and international clients.
Why choose an agency in Bergen a large agency in Oslo?
Because you get a personal touch, a full range of services, and people who know Western Norway. We’re a mid-sized agency that brings together strategy, design, web, content, and digital marketing under one roof, without departmental silos between disciplines. This ensures quick decision-making and a single point of contact for you. With us, you’ll meet experienced professionals who know their craft and do the work themselves. We’ve been based in Bergen 1945 and know the business community, cultural scene, and public sector in Western Norway well, while also working for clients far beyond the region.
