Background information

GC Rieber a company with deep roots in Bergen’s business community and a strong tradition in international trade, shipping, and industry.

Since its establishment in 1879, the company has developed its business, which today spans six different business areas.

Our task was to create new websites that unified the parent company and its subsidiaries.

SOLUTION

With many different business areas and sub-companies, it was crucial to create a good structure. That's why we created a large and clear menu with a good search function that makes it easy for the user to quickly find what they're looking for.

GC Rieber high GC Rieber corporate social responsibility, values, and sustainability. This is clearly reflected in both the design and the content. The website now features a dark mode design, which saves energy on both desktop and mobile devices. The green color and organic shapes reinforce the company’s sustainability profile.

Universal design is important in all our designs. Many people struggle to read small text and have problems with low contrast. On GC Rieber's website, the user can easily increase the contrast and font size as required.

The result is clean and intuitive websites with good readability, easy navigation and a clear company identity across all branches.
