We developed a new website for TS Group featuring seamless integrations, a new structure, improved usability, and better visibility in both search engines and AI-powered searches.

With seamless integrations with FrontCore and ReachMee, a more user-friendly structure, content tailored to actual user needs, and a website that is easier for both search engines and AI to read, TS Group now has a website that makes it easier for job seekers, customers, and its own employees to navigate.

Background:

TS Group is a Norwegian industrial group that provides industrial services in the areas of on-site mechanical maintenance and modifications, staffing, and training.

The main focus of the project was to simplify the structure, make the website more user-friendly, and develop a solution that supports their goals. The website had to reach multiple target groups with different needs and user journeys: buyers of services from TS Site Services in particular, candidates considering job opportunities through TS Manpower, and those looking to purchase and/or enroll in courses through TS Academy.

The new website was also intended to reduce the volume of inquiries, particularly from potential job seekers who couldn’t find the information they were looking for. At the same time, it had to be well-optimized for visibility in both search engines and AI-powered searches.

Solution:

We developed a new WordPress website featuring a clear organizational structure, dedicated user journeys for site services, courses, and careers, and integrations that automatically retrieve content from the third-party systems used by TS Group. The result is a website that makes it easier to find relevant information, strengthens TS Group’s position as an employer, and makes the solution easier to operate and further develop internally.

1: User-friendly course calendar with FrontCore integration

Through TS Academy, TS Group provides courses and training that enhance the skills of employees in the oil, gas, and onshore industries. The course calendar is a central feature of the website and is prominently displayed in the top menu, within the site’s content structure, and through clear CTAs, including on the homepage.

Course management, registration, and payment are handled through the third-party solution FrontCore. On the old site, all course information—including registration and payment—was embedded using an iframe. This resulted in a poorer user experience, more friction in navigation, and reduced visibility in search results. The new website is directly integrated with FrontCore via API. This makes the courses and registration feel like a natural part of the site. All upcoming courses are displayed in a clear course calendar, while the most important course categories are highlighted on the TS Academy landing page.

This makes it easier to find, understand, and sign up for courses. At the same time, it streamlines internal administration and provides a better foundation for visibility in both traditional search engines (SEO) and AI-powered search (GEO).

2: Seamless job listings with ReachMee integration

Through Resources, the group provides staffing services to major industrial and energy companies and has an extensive and ongoing need for skilled workers.

They use the third-party solution ReachMee for job postings and application management. By developing a streamlined integration with their API, this process has become easier and faster for TS Group employees to manage. The integration automatically fetches job openings and displays them both on the homepage and on the career pages.

The user experience has also improved significantly for job seekers, who can now find job openings and proceed through the application process all on a single website.

The high demand for skilled workers also means that the websites need to strengthen the group’s employer branding. They are now doing this through employee stories, tips and advice, and useful information aimed at candidates.

3: Fewer inquiries to customer service

A key goal for TS Group was to make it easier for users to find answers on their own. This was especially true for job seekers, who often have questions about how to apply, what TS Group looks for in candidates, and what opportunities are available.

On our career pages, we have therefore organized the content around what users are actually looking for, with clear links to job openings, open applications, candidate login, tips, and frequently asked questions. Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) are also highlighted as a separate section in the main navigation.

In addition, the site features an integrated AI chatbot from Coretrek. It provides quick and specific answers based on the content of the TS Group website. Combined with a clearer information architecture and more targeted content, this helps create a website that guides users and reduces the workload on the organization.
