Vestdavit has a global position as one of the leading and most innovative suppliers of davit systems. The wide range of products required a custom megameny that makes it easy for users to navigate between different systems, products, segments and services.
Bergen-based Vestdavit is internationally recognized for its davit systems, which it supplies to navies, corporations and state actors on several continents. They needed a new website that would make it easy for users to navigate between their various systems and products, while building trust with an international audience.
The new website quickly and effectively shows what Vestdavit delivers and which markets it operates in. The front page underlines the company's quality, innovation and experience in the field, by showing their technology in use on vessels from solid, global customers in various segments.
One of the most important tasks in the work on the website was to create a structure that made it easy to navigate between the different products. Vestdavit develops, designs and manufactures davit systems in six different categories, with up to nine models in one category.
We built a custom menu that sorts by product category, segments and services, and where the tagging of the individual products controls where they appear. This menu is displayed all the time when you are on a product or service. The result is a structure that makes it easy to navigate back and forth between the different products, segments and services.
